KEVIN S. INDA has been Vice President of investor and public relations
for Powertel since joining the Company in May, 1997, where he is
responsible for all external communications to shareholders, financial
analysts and the working media. Mr. Inda has more than 12 years
experience in the telecommunications industry. Prior to joining
Powertel, Mr. Inda was Vice President of corporate and financial
communications for Pocket Communications, Inc., a start-up wireless
venture in Washington, D.C. From October 1993, to December 1995, Mr.
Inda held several positions with MCI Communications Corporation at MCI
World Headquarters in Washington, D.C. From February 1994, to December
1995, Mr. Inda was MCI's senior manager of financial communications. Mr.
Inda's department was created to work with jointly with MCI's investor
and public relations staffs to ensure proper issue and product
positioning with financial community and was responsible for developing
communications for all major alliances, ventures, investments and
coordinating with all MCI business units to ensure all significant
product launches were positioned appropriately in with the financial
community. Mr. Inda was also responsible for MCI's financial
communications including earnings announcements, financial publications,
executive financial presentations and working with the business and
financial media on issues relating to corporate strategy and financial
issues. From October, 1993, to February, 1994, Mr. Inda was manager of
corporate public relations which included responsibility for MCI's
strategic initiatives and joint ventures, wireless communications,
MCI's local initiatives, and all other emerging services and
technologies. Mr. Inda is a graduate of Texas A&M University in College
Station, Texas, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Public
Relations/Journalism. He is accredited by the Public Relations Society
of America and a member of the National Investor Relations Institute. Profile
TWST: Can you give us a brief overview of the company and a little bitof its history?
Mr. Inda: Powertel today is one of the largest PCS providers in the
southeastern United States. We have
