COURTNEY PRATT – STELCO INC (STEa:TSX)

COURTNEY PRATT has been President and Chief Executive Officer of Stelco Inc. since January 2004. Prior to joining Stelco, he was President and Chief Executive Officer of Toronto Hydro Corporation from April 2001 to December 2003; President and Chief Executive Officer of Ontario Hydro Networks Company from January 2000 to April 2001; President of The Caldwell Partners International from September 1998 to March 1999. From 1987, Mr. Pratt has held several positions at Noranda Inc. In 1984-1987 he was Senior Vice President, Human Resources and Administration at Royal Trustco, Mr. Pratt also held several positions at Touche Ross and Partners from 1975 to 1979. From 1970 to 1975 he was Secretary General and Director of Human Resources at Dawson College and a Management Trainee at Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce from 1969 to 1970. He was a teacher at Lower Canada College from 1968 to 1969. Mr. Pratt received a BA with honors in Economics and Political Science from McGill University and was appointed a Member of the Order of Canada in January 1999, and was awarded an Honorary Doctor of Laws by Royal Roads University in November 1998.
