DR. RAJESH C. SHROTRIYA has served as the Chairman, Chief Executive
Officer and President of Spectrum Pharmaceuticals, Inc., since August
2002, when he was elected by the Board of Directors to spearhead major
changes in business strategy and organization. These changes ultimately

strategy, which includes a generic business as a potential source of
near-term revenue. Dr. Shrotriya's career spans over 30 years of
experience as a pharmaceutical and biotech executive, including 18 years
at Bristol-Myers Squibb Company in various positions, most recently as
Executive Director, Worldwide CNS Clinical Research. In his previous
positions as an Executive Vice President and Chief Scientific Officer of
SuperGen, Inc., and as Vice President and Chief Medical Officer of MGI
Pharma, Inc., Dr. Shrotriya was responsible for critical aspects of
clinical and commercial development, including setting and implementing
clinical and regulatory strategy as well establishing strategic
alliances for late-stage drugs in oncology and rheumatology. Profile
