Ken Kharbanda – Telcordia Technologies Inc

KEN KHARBANDA is Vice President of Corporate and Business Development for Telcordia Technologies, Inc. He joined Telcordia in May 2003, bringing extensive knowledge and a solid track record in working with and building technology companies in venture capital over the past 10 years. At Telcordia, he is responsible for mergers and acquisitions, strategy initiatives and developing new growth areas for the company. Prior to joining Telcordia, Mr. Kharbanda was a partner at VantagePoint Venture Partners, a venture capital concern investing in technology companies. During his tenure, he established VantagePoint's New York office and was responsible for managing East Coast activities including new investments, restructurings, portfolio management, and building and executing M&A strategies. From 1996 to 1999, he was Vice President of GE Capital's Private Equity Group. Before joining GE Capital, Mr. Kharbanda held positions of increasing authority in the investment firms of Kidder, Peabody & Company and subsequently at Barington Capital Group. He began his corporate career in 1987 at Bain & Company, a global strategy consulting firm. Mr. Kharbanda holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering and an MS in Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, as well as an MBA in Management from Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration.
