LESLIE H. CROSS has been the Chief Executive Officer and a Director of
dj Orthopedics, Inc., or its predecessor, DonJoy, LLC, since 1999. He
has served as President of the company since July 1995. From 1990 to
1994, Mr. Cross held the position of Senior Vice President of Marketing
and Business Development. He was a Managing Director of two different
divisions of Smith & Nephew from 1982 to 1990. Prior to that time, he
worked at American Hospital Supply Corporation. Mr. Cross earned a
Diploma in Medical Technology from Sydney Technical College in Sydney,
Australia, and studied Business at the University of Cape Town in Cape
Town, South Africa. He also serves as a Director of Sonus Corporation. Profile
