JASON R. TRENNERT is Chief Investment Strategist and Senior Managing
Director at International Strategy and Investment Group Inc. (ISI
Group), a New York broker-dealer specializing in economic research. Mr.
Trennert is ranked head of ISI's investment strategy team, ranked
runner-up in the Institutional Investor 2003 All America Research Team
and Best Boutique for Portfolio Strategy. He is the principal author of
the Portfolio Strategy Report. Prior to assuming this role, Mr.
Trennert built and oversaw ISI's survey research effort, writing ISI's
Company Survey Report, a weekly research piece that summarizes ISI's
industry findings, as well as a monthly equity market strategy piece.
He is regularly quoted in the domestic and foreign press, is a regular
guest host on CNBC's Squawk Box, and has been a special guest on Kudlow
& Cramer and Louis Rukeyser's Wall Street. He received an MBA in Finance
from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a BSFS in
International Economics from Georgetown University's School of Foreign
Service. He is a member of the Board of Advisors for Georgetown's Wall
Street Alliance, the National Association of Business Economists, the
