GREGORY H. WOLF began his Humana career as Senior Vice President
Marketing, Sales and Business Development following Humana's 1995
acquisition of Employers Health Insurance Co. and the Emphesys Financial
Group, where Mr. Wolf was President and Chief Operating Officer. He was
appointed Chief Operating Officer of Humana in July 1996, became
President and Chief Operating Officer in September 1996 and was
appointed President and Chief Executive Officer in December 1997. Mr.
Wolf received a Bachelor of Science degree from Penn State University
and a Master of Science degree in Hospital and Health Services
Administration from Central Michigan University. His professional
affiliations include membership on the Board of Directors of National
City Bank of Kentucky; Board of Directors of Shopko Stores, Inc.; and
Board of Directors and Executive Committee of Greater Louisville, Inc. Profile
