F. LYNN BLYSTONE is President and Chief Executive Officer of Tri-Valley
Corporation, a full reporting publicly traded company, and its wholly
owned subsidiary, Tri-Valley Power Corporation, and CEO of its wholly
owned subsidiary, Tri-Valley Oil & Gas Company. Tri-Valley is primarily
an oil, gas and mineral exploration and production company. Mr. Blystone
has also been President and Chief Executive Officer of Bandera Land
Company, Incorporated, a family holding company with real estate
interests in Orange and Riverside Counties of California since 1975.
Prior to this, from 1960 to 1981, he was Chairman and Chief Executive
Officer of Merit Companies, engaged in commercial-industrial
construction and municipal finance; PetroAviation, a Learjet charter
service, various field management positions with an Alaska Pipeline
contractor; several years as an executive for a non-profit youth
organization. Mr. Blystone has held a wide variety of positions on
Boards and Committees of both private and public non-profit
organizations. He is a member of Bakersfield Downtown Rotary and
Petroleum Club of Bakersfield. He is a member of Independent Petroleum
Association of America, California Independent Petroleum Associates,
Society of the American Institute of Mining, Metallurgical and Petroleum
Engineers and the Alaska Miners Association. Mr. Blystone has done
graduate studies at George Williams College, Chicago. He received a BA
in Liberal Arts from Whittier College, California, and an AA from
