BILL WHEELER was appointed President and Chief Operating Officer of
Cardima, Inc., in May 2001. Prior to serving in this capacity, Mr.
Wheeler was Senior Vice President, Worldwide Sales and Marketing from
May 2000. Prior to joining Cardima, from August 1998 to October 1999, Mr
Wheeler was the President, Chief Executive Officer and member of the
Board of Directors of Vascular Architects, Inc., a private startup
company focused on vascular occlusive disease. From October 1996 to
August 1998, he was the Vice President of Sulzer Vascutek, a worldwide
leader of large diameter, synthetic vascular grafts. From May 1987 to
October 1996, Mr. Wheeler was Director of Sales and Marketing, in both
international and domestic operations for IMPRA, Inc., a vascular graft
manufacturer. Mr. Wheeler attended Lebanon Valley College in
Pennsylvania and has individual courses at the UCLA John B. Anderson
