James R. Wilson – Cordant Technologies (cdd)

JAMES R. WILSON is Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Cordant Technologies. Wilson joined Cordant Technologies (formerly Thiokol Corporation) as Chief Financial Officer in 1989 and was named Executive Vice President in October 1992. Prior to joining the company, he served as Chief Financial Officer of Fairchild Industries, Inc., Washington, D.C.; Circuit City Stores, Richmond, Virginia; and the Wickes Companies, San Diego, California. Wilson serves on the boards of First Security Corporation, Salt Lake City, Utah; Cooper Industries, Inc., Houston, Texas; and The BF Goodrich Company, Richfield, Ohio. Wilson is Chairman of the Board of Howmet Industries Inc. He serves on the board of governors and the executive committee of the Aerospace Industries Association, Washington, D.C., and is a member of the board of trustees for Manufacturers Alliance, Washington, D.C. Wilson earned a Bachelor's degree from the College of Wooster in Wooster, Ohio, in 1963; in 1965, he completed a Master's degree in Business Administration from Harvard University. Profile

Mr. Wilson: Cordant today is a strategically balanced company that is

composed of three principal businesses. The first is Thiokol
