STEPHEN D. CHUBB is Director, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer and
Founder of Matritech, Inc. He has been Chairman since October 1993 and a
Director and Matritech's Chief Executive Officer since the company's
inception in 1987. Mr. Chubb was the company's President until October
1993 and was also Treasurer of the company until March 1992. From 1984
to 1986, Mr. Chubb served as President and Chief Executive Officer of T
Cell Sciences, Inc., a publicly-traded biotechnology company. Prior to
1984, Mr. Chubb was President and Chief Executive Officer of Cytogen
Company, also a publicly-traded biotechnology company. He currently
serves as a Director of Charles River Laboratories, a publicly-traded
medical products company and Trustee of Mt. Auburn Hospital, Cambridge,
