Charles Hutchinson – Glycofi Inc

CHARLES E. HUTCHINSON, Ph.D. Co-Founder, President, Chief Executive Officer, Director. Dr. Hutchinson has served as director, president and chief executive officer of GlycoFi since co-founding the company in the spring of 2000. Previous to GlycoFi, Dr. Hutchinson served as a John H. Krehbiel Sr. Professor for Emerging Technologies at the Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth and also as the Dean of the Thayer School on two separate occasions, from 1984 to 1994 and then from 1997-1998. Dr. Hutchinson founded Medical Media Systems, Inc. in 1992, a company that provides physicians with computerized medical images, without which complex clinical procedures would not be possible. Dr. Hutchinson is a member of the board of directors for several firms in New England including Markem Corporation, Hypertherm, Inc., Medical Media Systems, Inc. and MicroChips, Inc. Dr. Hutchinson received his Ph.D. from Stanford in 1963, his M.S.E.E. from Stanford in 1961 and his B.S.E.E. from the Illinois Institute of Technology in 1957. Profile
