Dinesh Dhamija-Dinesh is a well-known entrepreneur and spokesperson for all aspects of the Internet and travel industry. He has served as Chief Executive Officer of ebookers since June 1999 and has also been Chairman since the Company's incorporation. In 1983 Mr. Dhamija founded Flightbookers plc which he grew into one of the UK's largest travel agencies. While heading Flightbookers plc, Mr. Dhamija was instrumental in the company's setting up of a fully interactive travel website in 1996. Mr. Dhamija also ran the sales, marketing and support services of Royal Nepal Airlines as their Regional Director for Europe. He established sales for a network of travel agencies in 12 European countries to support Royal Nepal's flights to London, Frankfurt and Paris. Mr. Dhamija founded his first travel agency, Dabin Travel Limited, in 1980. Prior to entering the travel agency industry, Mr. Dhamija was employed by IBM.
