JOHN LOCHOW is President and Chief Executive Officer of Syndesis
Limited. Prior to joining Syndesis, he served as Executive Vice
President of Worldwide Systems and Logistics at Tech Data. Mr. Lochow
brings more than 25 years of experience in the communications industry
to Syndesis. He is also a member of the Board of Directors. During his
tenure at Tech Data, he led the development and deployment of their e-
commerce capability, making Tech Data one of the top 10 business-to-
business Internet commerce companies in the United States. Mr. Lochow
joined AT&T Bell Labs in 1976, after seven years of service with the
U.S. Air Force, where he flew combat missions into North Vietnam and
Cambodia. At AT&T, he worked in computer operations and later did
planning and design for the company's various PBX and networking
products. He holds a BA in Mathematics from Thomas Edison University and
has completed Harvard Business School's Advanced Systems Management
program, as well as the AT&T Executive Education Program offered by MIT.
He was recently recognized by Information Week as one of the Top 100 IT
executives in the United States and one of the Top 100 Leaders for the
Next Millennium by CIO magazine. Profile
