BRIAN P. MCKEON is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial
Officer of The Timberland Company. He is responsible for
directing efforts in finance, strategic planning, legal and
information services. Mr. McKeon reports directly to Jeffrey
Swartz, President and Chief Executive Officer. Prior to
Timberland, he was Vice President, Finance at Pepsi-Cola North
America, serving as Chief Financial Officer for the $3 billion
beverage division. He worked in a variety of financial and
strategic planning positions during an eight-year career with
PepsiCo. Before joining PepsiCo, he worked as a strategy
consultant with the Alliance Consulting Group and as an auditor
with Coopers & Lybrand in Boston. He received his BS in
Accounting from the University of Connecticut in 1984. He is a
CPA in Massachusetts. In 1989, he received his Master's of
Business Administration degree from Harvard University, where he
