David Elsley – Vasogen Inc (vsv)

DAVID G. ELSLEY is President and Chief Executive Officer of Vasogen Inc. Over the past 10 years, Mr. Elsley has been responsible for the scientific, clinical and commercial development of Vasogen's immune modulation therapy. Since becoming Vasogen's President in 1991 and Chief Executive Officer in 1995, he has identified the commercial potential for new therapies based on immune modulation for the treatment of cardiovascular and other diseases characterized by chronic inflammation. Through corporate development initiatives, Mr. Elsley has increased the awareness of Vasogen's technology amongst the medical and financial communities and has secured the necessary resources to support the scientific and clinical development of this promising therapeutic approach. He has assembled a team of industry leaders with the requisite skill and experience to successfully commercialize new healthcare technologies. Prior to joining Vasogen, Mr. Elsley held marketing and management positions with Seiko Epson Corporation and the Hudson's Bay Company of Canada.
