Paul Friedman – Incyte Corporation (incy)

DR. PAUL A. FRIEDMAN has been Chief Executive Officer of Incyte Corporation since November 2001. Prior to joining Incyte, Dr. Friedman was President of R&D for DuPont Pharmaceuticals Research Laboratories (formerly The DuPont Merck Pharmaceutical Company). Before joining DuPont, he ran discovery at Merck's West Point, Pennsylvania site and had responsibility for worldwide safety assessment and drug metabolism and pharmacokinetics. Dr. Friedman played a major role in the development and commercialization of: Aggrastat, Trusopt/Cosopt, Crixivan, Sustiva, Cozaar/Hyzaar, Fosamax, Pedvax HIB, Pneumovax, Vaqta, and Varivax. Prior to joining Merck, Dr. Friedman was an Associate Professor of Clinical Pharmacology at Harvard Medical School and is Board Certified in internal medicine and hematology. Profile
