Lloyd Segal – Caprion Pharmaceuticals Inc

President and CEO of Caprion since 1998, LLOYD M. SEGAL has presided over Caprion's growth to more than 80 people, and key alliances, including IDEC Pharmaceuticals, Johnson & Johnson/Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics, IDEXX Laboratories, Micromass/Waters Corp. and Sun Microsystems. He has led private financings for the company totaling over $100 million in equity and debt capital. He was previously a management consultant with McKinsey & Co., and served as President and CEO of Advanced Bioconcept Ltd. (ABL) from 1996 to 1998, during which he led the sale of ABL to NEN Life Sciences (now PerkinElmer). He is a member of the Board of Directors of SciQuest (NASDAQ:SQST) and a member of the Board of Overseers of the School of Science, Brandeis University.
