DOUGLAS R. CHAPIN is President and Chief Executive Officer of
GlobalSight Corp. Mr. Chapin brings over 20 years of high
technology leadership experience to GlobalSight. His most recent
role at Hewlett-Packard was Vice President and General Manager
for the E-services Solutions Organization. Previously, he was
Vice President and General Manager of HP's Operations and
Management Services organization, which comprises over 2,000
employees in 35 countries. In that capacity, he grew HP's IT
Outsourcing business from a startup to more than $1.1 billion in
five years. During his 18 years at Hewlett-Packard, Mr. Chapin
held several key product marketing and management roles. Prior to
joining HP, he worked for Pacific Gas and Electric and the U.S.
Department of Energy as a consultant on energy issues. Mr. Chapin
studied Physics and Economics at Johns Hopkins University in
Baltimore, Maryland, and holds Bachelor's degrees in Physics and
Economics from the University of California at Santa Cruz. He

Mr. Chapin: GlobalSight was founded in 1998. It was originally
