NEIL FLANZRAICH has served as Vice Chairman and President of IVAX
Corporation since May 1998 and as a director of IVAX since 1997.
He was a shareholder and served as Chairman of the Life Sciences
Legal Practices Group of Heller Ehrman White & McAuliffe from
1995 to May 1998. From 1981 to 1995, he served as Senior Vice
President and member of the corporate Operating Committee at
Syntex Corporation (an international pharmaceuticals company). He
is a director of Whitman Education Group, Inc., Rae Systems,
Inc., Continucare Corporation and IVAX Diagnostics, Inc. Mr.
Flanzraich was born in New York City and has been in South
Florida since May 1998. He received an AB degree from Harvard
College (Phi Beta Kappa, magna cum laude) and a JD degree from
