CARL F. GROVE is President, Chief Operating Officer and acting
CEO of iMEDD, Inc. iMEDD is using proprietary microfabrication
and nanotechnology to develop and manufacture novel, value-added
drug delivery products to satisfy serious medical needs for
improved therapy. Mr. Grove has 20 years' experience in senior
management positions in the drug delivery industry. He spent 13
years at SEQUUS, where, as Vice President of Regulatory Affairs,
he led efforts to register two products, DOXIL (liposomal
doxorubicin) for treatment of AIDS-related Kaposi's sarcoma and
Amphotec (lipid complexed amphotericin B) for treatment of
serious systemic fungal infections, in the US and Europe. As a
consultant, he also prepared key clinical sections of a
supplemental NDA for use of DOXIL for treatment of refractory
ovarian cancer. He spent two years as President of a startup,
transdermal drug delivery company based in Munich, Germany. He
helped form iMEDD and became its first employee in January 1999. Profile
