John Matthews – Johnsondiversey

JOHN W. MATTHEWS is Vice President for Global Communications, Public Affairs and Administrative Services for JohnsonDiversey, Inc. In this capacity, he manages internal and external corporate communications, regulatory and government affairs, employee health and safety and corporate workplace-related services such as facilities, travel and security. Mr. Matthews joined JohnsonDiversey in 2002 after serving for three years as a national public affairs and communications consultant with the Foley & Lardner law firm, based in Milwaukee. Prior to beginning his consulting practice, he served as Chief of Staff to former Wisconsin Gov. Tommy G. Thompson. Prior to entering politics, Mr. Matthews was a news reporter at various newspapers in the Upper Midwest. Mr. Matthews is a 1983 journalism graduate of the University of Wisconsin ' Whitewater, and serves on the Wisconsin YMCA Public Policy Committee and on the South Region Board of Directors for Aurora Health Care.
