Sally Sanborn – Save Mart Supermarkets

SALLY SANBORN is Director of Marketing at Save Mart Supermarkets. Ms. Sanborn started with Save Mart Supermarkets in June 1982 as Advertising Manager and was named Director of Advertising and Supervisor of the Print and Graphic departments one year later in 1983. She was promoted to Director of Trade/Relations in 1989. Her responsibilities included supervision of the Consumer Relations department, handling all public relations, promotions and trade events and spokesperson for Save Mart Supermarkets. Ms. Sanborn was promoted to her current position of Director of Marketing in June 1994. She is responsible for marketing and promotional events, media communications, spokesperson for Save Mart Supermarkets, the supervision of the Advertising Department, Print and Graphic department and Trade/Relations. Ms. Sanborn began her career in 1964 as Advertising Manager for Kmart in Bakersfield. Two years later she joined the Bakersfield News Bulletin as Production Manager. In 1972 Ms. Sanborn and her husband opened an advertising agency and published a biweekly sports newspaper in Modesto. The newspaper was sold in 1977 and she joined the Modesto advertising agency of Boyle Kilpatrick and Associates as creative director, leaving the agency in 1981. Profile

Ms. Sanborn: We are an independent supermarket chain that has

superstores and box-type, price impact stores. Our
