David Dlesk – Recovery Pharmaceuticals

DAVID C. DLESK joined Recovery Pharmaceuticals as CEO in 2001. He has been associated with the company since 1999, first as an adviser and investor, and later as a Director. Mr. Dlesk previously served as Executive VP and Chief Business Officer of V.I. Technologies where he established the commercialization strategy for a new product to inactivate pathogens in blood. As VP of Operations at Biogen he successfully managed the operational launch and rapid growth of the blockbuster multiple sclerosis drug, Avonex_ and guided a new $60 million biotech production facility from groundbreaking through FDA licensure in 33 months. While CEO of Medical Media Systems, a start-up company creating computer aided surgery systems, he oversaw the development of a ground breaking 3-D surgical imaging device. Mr. Dlesk began his career at Baxter Healthcare Corp. and held a variety of positions including General Manager of Bentley Laboratories B.V. and Director of Business Development, Venture Technology.
