Allan J. Sweet is President and co-CEO of AMLI Residential
Properties Trust. He has been associated with AMLI since its
inception and, prior to that time, since 1985. Prior to joining
AMLI, Mr. Sweet was a partner in the Chicago law firm of Schiff,
Hardin & Waite, with which he had been associated since 1978. He
received a BBA. from the University of Michigan in 1968 and a JD
from the University of Michigan Law School in 1973. From 1980 to
1983, Mr. Sweet was a trustee of American Equity Investment
Trust, an over-the-counter equity REIT. He is a Director of the
National Multi-Housing Council and a member of the Pension Real
Estate Association and NAREIT. Profile
