STAN VAN GENT joined Conceptus, Inc., in February 2000 as the
Vice President of Marketing. Prior to joining Conceptus, Mr. Van
Gent served in varying marketing capacities with Valleylab and
was Director of International Marketing from 1998 to 2000 where
he was responsible for international market introduction,
reimbursement, strategic positioning, and branding for $70
million of product revenues. Mr. Van Gent has also held various
positions in marketing, sales, and engineering over the past 10
years for Allergan Medical Optics, Imagyn Medical and Cabot
Medical. Mr. Van Gent holds a BS degree in Biomedical Engineering
from the University of California, San Diego. Profile
