Shoshana Loeb – Elity Systems Inc

SHOSHANA LOEB is Founder, Chief Executive Officer and President of Elity Systems, Inc. After founding Elity in 1999, Dr. Loeb transitioned the company from a high technology incubator to its present business focus. She has directed Elity through particularly challenging economic times in IT to deliver both sustainable financial results and a company that is recognized as a world-class leader in its market space. Under Dr. Loeb's direction, Elity has targeted its market focus, streamlined operations, and recast its business model. Previously, Dr. Loeb had a successful career at Bellcore (Telcordia) as Director- Internet/Information Technology, a P&L center. She developed and deployed innovative technologies: next generation telecommunication networks, network evolution, Internet services, wireless applications, and security technologies. She holds three technology patents. Dr. Loeb is an active member of the technology community in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania and is networked to venture capitalists and entrepreneurs in the US and in Israel. With the New Jersey Technology Council, she founded the Edison Innovators Club to promote dialogue between business, investment, and technology leaders. She serves on several corporate, governmental, and academic advisory boards. She has been interviewed by electronic and print media as a subject matter expert on scientific and business subjects. Dr. Loeb holds a BSc in Physical Chemistry from the Hebrew University, Jerusalem, Israel, a MSc in Chemical Physics and a PhD in Mathematics from The Weizmann Institute of Science in Rehovot, Israel. She held a Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Computer Science at Yale University and was a Computer Science Professor at the State University of New York.
