Herb Mee Jr. – The Beard Company (boc)

HERB MEE, JR. is President and Chief Financial Officer of The Beard Company, a holding company with subsidiaries engaged principally in coal reclamation, interstate travel facilities and environmental remediation. He also serves as a director and officer of the Company's principal subsidiaries. Prior to joining Beard in 1973, he served as president of Woods Corporation, a NYSE diversified holding company, from 1968 to 1972 and as its chief executive officer from 1970 to 1972. He served as vice chairman of the board of USPCI, Inc., a Beard subsidiary, from 1984 to 1987. Mr. Mee graduated from Harvard University with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, 1950 with honors. He is a past chairman of the Western Oklahoma Chapter, Young Presidents Organization and a past president of the Oklahoma City Golf and Country Club. He has served on the Board of Directors of three local banks and currently serves on the Board of several private companies.
