WAYNE H. DEITRICH has served as Chief Executive Officer of
Schweitzer-Mauduit International, Inc., since August 1995 and was
also elected Chairman of the Board on November 30, 1995, at the
time of the spin-off from Kimberly-Clark Corporation. Mr.
Deitrich joined Kimberly-Clark in 1970 and held various
operations positions, mill manager assignments and general
business management responsibilities during his career. Mr.
Deitrich holds a BS degree in Chemical Engineering from Lehigh
University and Master's and Doctorate degrees in Pulp and Paper
Technology from the Institute of Paper Chemistry. He also
received an MBA in Business Management from the University of
Chicago in 1981. Profile
PAUL C. ROBERTS has served as Chief Financial Officer and
Treasurer of Schweitzer-Mauduit International, Inc., since August
1995. Mr. Roberts joined Kimberly-Clark in 1977 and held various
positions in financial analysis, strategic planning and financial
management with Kimberly-Clark until the spin-off of Schweitzer-
Mauduit International in 1995. Mr. Roberts was born in Neenah,
Wisconsin. He received a Bachelor's of Business Administration
(BBA) in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame and
received a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) from the
Harvard Business School. He served as a Supply Officer in the
U.S. Navy from 1971 through 1975. Profile
