RONALD E. PIERCE serves as President and CEO of Integrated Orthopaedics,
Inc. (IOI). IOI is a publicly traded (Amex: IOI) early stage single
specialty physician practice management company focused on developing
physician driven integrated outpatient delivery systems to provide
comprehensive care to patients with musculoskeletal injuries and
illnesses. Mr. Pierce joined the company in October 1996, founding and
executing the company's orthopaedic practice management strategy. He
brings to the company extensive physician practice management expertise
and 18 years of healthcare management experience. Prior to IOI, Mr.
Pierce was Vice President of Operations at American Oncology Resources,
Inc. a leading publicly traded single specialty physician practice
management company focused on oncology. From 1989 to 1995, Mr. Pierce
served as a Vice President with Caremark International, a company now
