GEORGES DAOU is Chairman & Chief Executive Officer. As Chairman and
Chief Executive Officer of DAOU Systems, Inc., Georges Daou oversees
strategic planning and directs growth opportunities for the publicly
held company. Daou co-founded the San Diego-based firm in 1987 with his
brother Daniel, building it into a multimillion-dollar enterprise that
provides computer network solutions for the healthcare industry. Though
Daou's leadership, the company today has a workforce of more than 700
and has provided information technology to more that 1,000 healthcare
clients throughout the United States, including such prestigious
organizations Centura Health, North Shore Health System, Mercy Health
Services, and UCSF Stanford Health Care. Under the leadership of its
CEO, DAOU Systems launched a successful initial public offering on Feb.
12, 1997, and is now traded on the NASDAQ under the symbol DAOU. Georges
Daou is a nationally recognized expert in healthcare information systems
and has helped pioneered such services as telemedicine, healthcare
Internet solutions, and enterprise network planning and design. His
technical background includes experience as an engineer for Wavetek,
Inc., where he helped design an extensive network system spanning four
countries and 3,000 users. In 1996, 1997 and 1998 Daou was selected as a
finalist in the healthcare category of Ernst & Young's Entrepreneur of
the Year Awards for the San Diego region. He sits on the board of
directors and has served as a keynote speaker for such professional
organizations as the College of Healthcare Information Management
Executives, Healthcare Information Managers Association, Healthcare
Financial Managers Association, Healthcare Information and Management
Systems Society, and Western Managed Healthcare Congress. He and his
company are also active members in a number of community organizations,
such as the Greater San Diego Chamber of Commerce, UCSD CONNECT, and the
Institute of the Americas. Daou holds a bachelor's degree in electrical
engineering from the University of California, San Diego, as well as a
master's degree from UCSD in information and communication theory. Profile

several years?
Mr. Daou: Well there are definitely
