LONNIE MOULDER is President and Chief Operating Officer of MGI
PHARMA, Inc. He served as Executive Vice President of the company
from September 1999 through May 2002. Prior to joining MGI, he
was Vice President, Business Development and Commercial Affairs
and was part of the founding management team of Eligix, Inc. (now
known as BioTransplant Inc.), a biomedical company focused on
developing therapies for cancer, organ transplantation and
autoimmune diseases. This followed 16 years of various sales,
marketing, operational management, and business development
positions with Hoechst Marion Roussel (HMR) (now known as Aventis
Pharma) and its predecessor companies, Marion Laboratories and
Marion Merrell Dow Pharmaceuticals. Mr. Moulder's tenure at HMR
culminated as Product Group Director, oncology and anti-
infectives. He began his career in 1980 at Temple University
Hospital as a clinical pharmacist. Mr. Moulder received a
Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from Temple University and
a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of
