Andre Heroux – Maax Inc (mxa:tse)

ANDRE HEROUX is President and Chief Executive Officer of MAAX Inc. Mr. Heroux was a Logistics Officer with Canadian Armed Forces. Based in Quebec and New Brunswick, he worked in purchasing, finance, transport and management information systems. He also occupied the position of Logistics Officer for the United Nations in Greece and Germany. Mr. Heroux was a Logistics Manager for Oerlikon Aerospatial. Mr. Heroux moved from the position of Logistics Manager to Plant Manager, Operations Manager and Vice President, Operations within the British pharmaceutical giant Smith & Nephew. He was Vice President, General Manager of one of Domtar's divisions, working in Huntsville, Ontario, where he occupied this position until the sale of the division to an American financial group in 1996. Prior to this he was President and CEO of CDM Papier Dcor. Mr. Heroux left CDM Papier Dcor in April 1999 to join the MAAX group, first as Vice President, Operations and since September 16, 1999 as the President and CEO of MAAX. He graduated from the Royal Military College (Saint-Jean, Qubec) in 1979, and he has a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. Profile
