GREG SECORD is the Director of Investor Relations at Open Text
Corporation. In 2002, Mr. Secord was recognized for the
excellence of Open Text's investor relations activities by
portfolio managers, buy-side and sell-side analysts, professional
and individual investors, with awards for Best Investor Relations
Officer, Best Overall Investor Relations, Best Investment
Community Meetings and Best Use of Conferencing. Prior to his
position as Director, he served as Manager of Public and Investor
Relations. Before joining Open Text, Mr. Secord worked as a
communications consultant for the insurance industry and as an
investor relations consultant for software startups seeking
venture capital. Based in Ontario, Canada, he serves as President
of the regional chapter of the International Association of

ALAN HOVERD was appointed Chief Financial Officer of Open Text
Corporation in April 2000. He joined Open Text as the Vice
President of Finance in July 1999. Mr. Hoverd has over 23 years
of high tech experience including five years as Vice President of
Finance, Chief Financial Officer and Director of Digital
Equipment of Canada, a corporation with annual revenues of $2
billion. Mr. Hoverd has also held several financial positions
with IBM Canada, including Manager of Finance for the Storage and
Peripherals division, and five years as Controller of Gulf
