THOMAS MIZELLE is President, Chief Executive Officer and a member
of the Board of Directors of NewBiotics Inc. He has over 20 years
of sales and marketing, business development, operations and
management experience in the pharmaceutical industry,
specializing in oncology and infectious disease markets. Prior to
joining NewBiotics he was Chief Operating Officer at Vion
Pharmaceuticals, formerly OncoRx Inc. During his tenure, he
successfully negotiated the company's merger with MelaRx
Pharmaceuticals Inc. and took the company public in 1995. Before
that, Mr. Mizelle worked in sales and marketing at Immunex Corp.,
NeoRx Corp., and Adria Laboratories, and as a Researcher at Duke
University in the Department of Pediatrics. Mr. Mizelle earned
his Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Zoology from North
