WADE W. SMITH is Chief Executive Officer of Wellspring
International, Inc. As a senior executive within American
Standard Companies, Mr. Smith developed a high profile track
record in business turnarounds and process re-engineering. As the
general manager of Trane's International Business Development and
American Standard's flagship 'U.S. Plumbing Products,' Mr. Smith
demonstrated his management skills in both high technology
capital equipment and building/consumer products. His successful
turnaround of two Fortune 100 company divisions grew from
development of clear strategic plans to create competitive
advantage, an ability to leverage talent and inspire hard work,
and a hands-on management style. Mr. Smith is a licensed
professional engineer with an Environmental Engineering degree
from the University of Wisconsin. Additionally, Mr. Smith has a
business-to-business marketing background, and nine years'
general management experience in international residential air
conditioning, building control, performance contracting and
plumbing products businesses. His capabilities span all
disciplines and he does not hesitate to roll up his sleeves when
needed. His assignments have always involved strategy
