E.H. (TRACE) DEVANNY III has been President of Cerner Corporation
since 1994. In his role, Mr. Devanny is responsible for Cerner's
enterprise business strategies and product management. As
President, he oversees activities for Cerner International and
enterprise sales, plus implementation and support functions for
all of the markets that Cerner serves. In addition, he has
responsibility for IQHealth, Cerner's eHealth business group. Mr.
Devanny brings more than 20 years of experience in software,
technology and healthcare informatics to his role as President,
including an unparalleled track record of bolstering corporate
performance. Mr. Devanny's first roles at Cerner included
Regional Vice President for the Mid-Atlantic Region in
Washington, DC, as well as Vice President and General Manager for
the East. In 1997, Mr. Devanny left Cerner to serve as Chief
Operating Officer and President of ADAC Health Care Information
Systems in Houston, Texas. He rejoined Cerner as President in
August 1999. Earlier in his career, Mr. Devanny worked for IBM
Corporation as the business unit executive for the health sector
in the mid-Atlantic States. He also served as a member of the IBM
Health Industry Market Focused Community Board of Directors. Mr.
Devanny earned his Bachelor's degree in English from the
