ALEX J. MISELSON's distinguished career began early, back in his college
days, when, as an outstanding student, he garnered numerous distinctive
honors, including a medal for special academic achievements and a Phi
Beta Kappa key. After spending a number of years teaching at both the
high school and college level, Mr. Miselson headed for Wall Street,
starting as an ordinary broker more than 20 years ago. His academic
training, intellectual background and creative desires, however,
automatically led him to search for special niches, and he gradually
elevated himself into a portfolio manager, a researcher, and ' in his
favorite role ' an investment theorist. Over the past decade, Mr.
Miselson has chalked up some notable achievements, appearing as a
frequent regular guest on two television interview shows, being
regularly interviewed by major national newspapers ' and even being a
continuing contributor, a decade ago, with his weekly analytic column
in 'The Wall Street Transcript.' He now manages many long term
conservative investment portfolios, while consistently devoting time
to developing, refining and polishing his innovative investment
theories. A biography of Mr. Miselson will be featured in the soon to be
released latest editions of 'Who's Who In Industry and Finance' and '
Who's Who in America.' On New Year's Eve, Mr. Miselson was one of the
celebrities interviewed on New York Radio Station WOR's year-end
celebration, and he is now in negotiation with another radio station
about a possible interview in the future. Away from WOR, Mr. Miselson
has a deep interest in politics and economics, music and the theatre.
