RICHARD J. HENDRIX is the Senior Managing Director of the
Diversified Industries Investment Banking Group at Friedman
Billings Ramsey & Co., Inc. Mr. Hendrix also serves as the
President and Chief Operating Officer of FBR Asset Investment
Corporation, a publicly traded REIT. Prior to joining FBR, Mr.
Hendrix was the Managing Director of PNC Capital Markets'
Investment Banking group, focusing on mergers and acquisitions
and equity and high-yield debt underwriting. Mr. Hendrix headed
PNC Capital Market's asset-backed securities business, which
encompasses public underwriting of asset-backed securities,
private placement of asset-backed securities and the
administration of two commercial paper conduits. During his
career, Mr. Hendrix has worked extensively with companies in a
broad range of industries including metals, retailing,
diversified holding companies, specialty finance and consumer
products. Mr. Hendrix joined PNC in 1987 after receiving a BS in
