JONATHAN WINER is the Director of enXco East Coast, Inc., with offices
in South Burlington, Vermont. enXco is a full-service wind power
developer and a leading provider of asset management services to the
wind energy industry. In 2001, enXco opened the Vermont office which is
responsible for wind power development in the East. Mr. Winer has been
actively involved in many aspects of independent power project
development, applying his legal and business experience to due
diligence, structuring, financing, and ongoing investment management. He
co-founded Mountain Energy in 1989 as a subsidiary of Green Mountain
Power, serving as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer from 1989
to 1997 and as President from 1997 to 2001. During this time Mountain
Energy invested in, and participated in the management of wind, gas co-
generation, energy efficiency, and small hydro projects. Prior to
starting Mountain Energy, he spent more than 10 years focusing on
contract, regulatory and financial aspects of utility and independent
power-related business matters. Mr. Winer has an undergraduate degree
from Dartmouth College and a Law degree from New York University. Profile
