Bruce Usher – Ecosecurities Group Ltd

BRUCE USHER is CEO of EcoSecurities Group Ltd., the leading greenhouse gas advisory firm in the world. Mr. Usher is responsible for management of EcoSecurities' holding company, including external financing, corporate control and operational functions. Prior to EcoSecurities he was co-Founder, President and CEO of TreasuryConnect LLC, a software development firm founded in 1999 to provide electronic trading solutions to banks, investment banks and Global 1000 corporations. TreasuryConnect was financed by investment subsidiaries of AIG Financial Products Corporation, Enron Corporation, The Williams Capital Group, and eVentures International. TreasuryConnect was sold to eSpeed Inc, developer of the world's largest electronic financial marketplace, in May 2001, and became the Software Solutions division of eSpeed. For the previous six years, Mr. Usher participated in strategic development and was responsible for managing sales, trading and administration as Chief Operating Officer of The Williams Capital Group, a boutique institutional investment bank specializing in capital markets activities for major corporations and institutional investors. During that time Williams Capital grew from a startup to 55 professional employees with offices in New York and London. Prior to that, he spent four years as a Vice President and Trader of structured derivative securities at Lehman Brothers in both New York and Tokyo. Before joining Lehman, Mr. Usher worked for several years trading derivatives at the Chuo Trust & Banking Company in Tokyo. Mr. Usher received an MBA with Distinction from Harvard Business School and is an Adjunct Professor of Finance at Columbia Business School. Profile
