DR. YOAV NISSAN-COHE is President, Co-CEO, Chairman of Tower Semiconductor Ltd. Yoav Nissan-Cohens twenty-year career in the Semiconductor field covers a wide range of activities, including basic research, technology development and business management at the corporate executive level. From 1995 Dr. Nissan-Cohen has been a Co-Chief Executive Officer at Tower Semiconductor, after serving the company for two years in the position of vice-president, technology and business development. From 1998 till 1993, he was employed by National Semiconductor Israel in various engineering and management capacities. From 1984 to 1988, Dr. Nissan-Cohen was employed by General Electric at its Schenectady research and development center in New York, conducting research in advanced semiconductor device technology. Dr. Nissan-Cohen received his Ph.D. Summa Cum Laude in Applied Physics from the Hebrew University in 1984. Dr. Nissan-Cohen also served as a jetfighter pilot in the Israeli Air Force. Profile
