MARC PAQUIN founded Haemacure Corporation in 1991 and has been
its President and Chief Executive Officer since that time. He was
Founder, a Director, President and Chief Executive Officer of
Autologous System, Inc., the first commercial private blood bank
to be established in Canada under the licensing authority of the
Bureau of Biologics of Health and Welfare Canada. During the
period from the company's inception in August 1986 until its sale
in January 1989, Mr. Paquin developed the only operating
autologous blood bank in Canada. Prior to founding Autologous
System, Inc., Mr. Paquin was Vice President and General Manager
of Syntex Diagnostic (Canada) Inc. Mr. Paquin was responsible for
the initial set-up of the Syntex Biomedical Division of Canada.
Mr. Paquin's education is in general health sciences and
