DONNA SHUM is Chief Operating Officer of WEX Pharmaceuticals Inc. Ms.
Shum was educated in both Hong Kong and Canada and obtained a Bachelor
of Business Administration degree in Finance from Simon Fraser
University in 1996. Ms. Shum is bilingual in English and Mandarin. She
joined the company at its Vancouver office in 1996 as Controller and
Corporate Secretary. Since 1996 she has acted as Chief Financial Officer
with responsibility for the company's dealings with its bankers, stock
exchanges and auditors. In 1997, she led the company's capital
reorganization and became a Director. Since 1998, she has undertaken the
raising of approximately $12.5 million in private placements for the
company. In 2000, Ms. Shum became Chief Operating Officer. Profile
