DAVID DENO is Chief Financial Officer of Tricon Global Restaurants,
Inc., a position he assumed in November 1999. Mr. Deno joined Tricon
after serving as Senior Vice President and CFO for Tricon Restaurants
International, a position he held from August 1997. In addition to his
financial responsibilities, Mr. Deno oversaw business in Central Europe
in 1999 and also was responsible for restructuring the TRI business.
Previously, Mr. Deno served as Senior Vice President and CFO for Pizza
Hut, Inc. He joined Pizza Hut in 1991 as Vice President and Controller.
In 1994, he moved into general management and became the Division Vice
President for the Southeast Division, based in Florida. Before joining
the company, Mr. Deno was with the Burger King Corporation and Pillsbury
Company from 1982 to 1991, where he held positions of increasing
responsibility in finance, real estate and business development. Mr.
Deno holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science from
Macalester College and an MBA from the University of Michigan. Profile
