Stephen Guillard – Harborside Healthcare Corporation

STEPHEN L. GUILLARD has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Harborside Healthcare Corporation in Boston, Massachusetts, since May 1988, and as Director and Chairman of the Board of the company since its inception. Harborside Healthcare is a privately held subsidiary of Investcorp International. The company operates 50 post-acute and assisted living centers with 6,120 beds in the eastern United States. Mr. Guillard has extensive leadership experience in long-term care, having served as Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Diversified Health Services (DHS), a company that Mr. Guillard co- founded in 1982. DHS operated approximately 7,500 long-term care and assisted living beds in five states. During a career in long-term care that spans 29 years, Mr. Guillard has held various executive positions in healthcare companies and facilities, and has gained a first-hand understanding of the challenges facing long-term care providers. Mr. Guillard has previously served as Chairman of the American Health Care Association (AHCA) National Multifacility Committee and Chairman of the Alliance for Quality Nursing Home Care. He has an MPA degree in healthcare administration from Pennsylvania State University, and is a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator. Profile

Mr. Guillard: Harborside was founded in 1988 and is almost
