MICHAEL P. HAYDOCK is President and Chief Executive Officer of Cray Inc.
Before joining the company, he was Vice President of IBM Global
Services' Sell and Support solutions business unit, a worldwide
operation serving Chief Marketing Officers of major corporations. During
his 12 years at IBM (1989-2001), he also led a global consulting
practice focused on commercial data mining and decision support, and
served as an executive building IBM's Business Intelligence business in
Europe, the Middle East and Africa while residing in Paris, France. From
1977-1989, Mr. Haydock served as Control Data Corporation's National
Accounts Sales Manager, Manager of Strategic Marketing and finally,
Director of Environmental Sciences and Emerging Technologies. This last
position included primary responsibility for marketing and sales of
supercomputers to weather and financial services organizations. Mr.
Haydock earned Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Florida Atlantic
University and completed postgraduate studies in Banking at the Wharton
School of Business and in Marketing at the University of Minnesota. Profile
