KELVIN W. T. HINGLEY is Chief Executive of High-Point Rendel Group plc. With 25 years' experience in the construction industry, Kelvin is Chief Executive of High-Point Rendel Group plc and has been a member of the Group board since 1995. He was also responsible as Regional Managing Director of the Asia-Pacific operations for six years before returning to the UK in 1996.In addition to his corporate responsibilities, he has considerable experience in management of risks in major building and civil engineering projects. He advises on corporate strategy, management of change and general commercial and litigation matters.Kelvin has extensive experience in dispute resolution, litigation, arbitration and in various alternative dispute resolution forums. He has been engaged by governments, banks, developers, manufacturers and contractors in relation to many forms of contract, especially in the analysis of risks and the identification of solutions particularly relating to unusual or hybrid forms of contract procurement.He has been involved in numerous major turnaround situations as well as directly leading teams setting overall financial, commercial and contracting strategies for many different types of building and in infrastructure projects.He is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and a Member of the Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors.
