Neil Loxley – Bede Plc (bed.l)

NEIL LOXLEY is Chief Executive of Bede plc. He gained his PhD in X-ray scattering from semiconductor materials from the University of Durham. Throughout his career he has specialised in the development of X-ray instrumentation and was involved in the design of many of the Group's products. In 1997, he was awarded the Institute of Physics Paterson medal and prize for commercialisation of Physics. In 1994, he obtained the Institute of Directors Diploma in Company Direction form Durham University Business School and, in 1998, completed the INSEAD "owner directors program". He joined Bede Scientific Instruments Limited in 1988 as a staff scientist and was promoted to Managing Director in 1994. He is responsible for overall management of the Group and particularly product strategy and commercial relations. Profile

DAVID HALL is Finance Director of Bede plc and a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Adviser. He started his commercial career as financial controller of a printing company following eight years in the accountancy profession. He joined Bede Scientific Instruments Limited as financial accountant in 1999 and was appointed Finance Director in July 2000. He manages all aspects of the Group's accounting function and financial strategy. Profile
