Lothar Krinke – Celera Genomics Group (cra)

LOTHAR KRINKE, is Vice President for Business Development and Strategic Planning at Celera Genomics. Dr. Krinke is responsible for expanding and developing the business strategy for Celera's Discovery and Online Information businesses. He also focuses on mergers and acquisitions, business development and strategic planning. Previously, Dr. Krinke was at A.T. Kearney Inc., a global management consulting firm, where he was Vice President in the Pharmaceutical practice, responsible for helping biopharmaceutical companies develop R&D and marketing strategies. Prior to that, he worked at McKinsey & Company, another leading management consulting firm. Dr. Krinke serves on the Research Advisory Board and co-chairs the Research Taskforce of the Juvenile Diabetes Research foundation. Dr. Krinke obtained his undergraduate degree in Biology from Technische Universitaet Braunschweig in Germany and his PhD in Molecular Biology from the State University of New York at Albany.
